Howdy!! My name is Macelynn Smith. I am the 16-year-old daughter of Robert and Diana Smith. I am the granddaughter of Lawrance and Barbara Bauer and C.W. and Paulette Smith. I attend Caldwell High School where I will be a sophomore this upcoming year. I am honored to be running for Burleson County Fair Queen and given the opportunity to represent the Caldwell FFA Chapter. While in high school, I played defensive for the Varsity Soccer team. I have been a part of the Caldwell FFA Wildlife judging team. I am a member of the FCA club. I volunteer to work at the concession stand during softball and baseball games. I have shown market goats at the Burleson County Fair since I was in the 3 rd grade. Last year, I caught at San Antonio calf scramble and purchased my first Jr. Breeding Heifer. I enjoyed this project so much that I tried the calf scramble again in Houston. I will be getting my new heifer this summer. These two heifers will be the start of my registered Beefmaster herd, which I am a member of the Junior Beefmaster Breeders Association. Thank you for the opportunity to run for your next Fair Queen.
