Kate Hill - 2023 Queen Candidate

Hi! My name is Kate Hill and I am the sixteen year old daughter of Josh and Elizabeth Hill. I was born and raised in The Brazos Valley but have spent the majority of my life residing in Burleson County. I am a junior at Caldwell High School where I have been a part of the Caldwell FFA Chapter since eighth grade, and currently serve as the reporter. I have been a member of Deanville 4-H since third grade, where I currently carry out my role as Club President and have been for the past two years. Other clubs and organizations that I’m a part of are 4-H County Council, Varsity Golf Team, Varsity Cheer Squad, Class Officer and Student Council. After graduating high school, I plan on attending college and pursuing a degree in business.
I am proud to be sponsored by, and represent, The Deanville 4-H Club. Deanville 4-H club has fueled my journey through the entirety of my agricultural career. I am honored to have the responsibility to lead this club and help the younger kids of our community by guiding them through their time in agriculture.

I show market steers and breeding heifers at the Burleson County Fair, where I also participate in the bake sale every year. Growing up as a part of the Burleson County Fair has shaped me into the person I am today. I also find joy in showing my animals at a few of the Texas Majors, including the Fort Worth Stock Show, San Antonio Livestock Show and Rodeo, Rodeo Austin and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

I am excited to have the honor of representing the Burleson County Fair as a fair queen
candidate this year!
