Howdy!
My name is Miranda Polasek, and I am honored to participate in this year’s Burleson County Fair Queens contest. I am the daughter of Bert and Rebekah Polasek, lifelong residents of Burleson County. I began showing market rabbits at the age of 8, and now at 17, I show lambs. Participating in the BCF for nearly a decade has shaped who I am, deepening my passion for agriculture and our community.
I am actively involved in CHS Yearbook and FFA. I currently serve as CHS Class Secretary Class of 2026. I am also the President of Frenstat 4-H, and a active member of the Young Republicans Club. In addition to leadership roles, I enjoy being on the CHS tennis, track, and powerlifting teams.
Looking ahead, I plan to attend Texas State University in San Marcos to study Public Relations. My goal is to become a professional photographer and marketer in the professional sports industry. Throughout my showing career, I’ve faced many challenges and have learned to trust the process and remain faithful in every season. No matter how big or small the outcome I always thank God for helping me overcome the challenge and shaping me into the young woman I am today.
One of my favorite Bible verses is “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” –
Philippians 4:13. This verse has guided me through tough times and reminded me that with
faith and perseverance, anything is possible.
The Burleson County Fair has given me priceless memories and friendships, and I am proud to be part of its tradition and future.
Thank you again for this opportunity!
