Hello!
My name is Jolee Telschow. I am the 17-year-old daughter of Brandon and Ashlee Telschow of Caldwell and the oldest sibling to my sister, Jesee, and brother, Jet. I am currently a senior at Caldwell High School and proudly represent Deanville 4-H Club as my sponsor for the Burleson County Fair Queen Contest.
Throughout high school, I have been actively involved in leadership and service organizations including serving as Vice President of Deanville 4-H Club, President of Caldwell Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Vice President of Caldwell Student Council, Co-founder and President of the BCFA Junior Fair Board, and Vice President of Caldwell National Honor Society. I am also a member of the Caldwell High School Varsity Cheer team, Young Republicans, and St. John’s Lutheran Church of Deanville.
For the past 10 years, I have participated in the Burleson County Fair through showing rabbits and commercial heifers, entering baked goods and creative living projects, and assisting with FFA fair tours for elementary students. One accomplishment I am especially proud of is helping revive Caldwell’s Mini Camp after more than 10 years of inactivity and contributing to making it a successful experience for local youth. Through these opportunities, I have developed strong leadership, responsibility, and communication skills while learning the value of serving my community.
After graduation, I plan to attend college to major in business finance and pursue a career in the insurance industry. My favorite part of the Burleson County Fair is the dedicated supporters, volunteers, and members who work together to create an event that allows youth to learn, grow, and recognize the importance of agriculture within our community. I am honored for the opportunity to represent Deanville 4-H and the Burleson County Fair.
