Kylan Canon - 2022 Queen Candidate

Howdy! My name is Kylan Canon, the daughter of Steve and Maleigh Canon. I am proud to be born and raised here in Burleson County. I am honored to represent Burleson County as an ag advocate through Burleson County Fair, Texas 4-H Livestock & Equine Ambassador, Texas Master Gardener, 4-H Horse Club & Livestock Judging Team President, as well as our 4-H County Council First Vice President. All of these opportunities have fueled my passion for advocating for the livestock and agricultural industry and serving others. Outside of 4-H, I am an active member of First Baptist Church Caldwell and the Brazos Valley Mustang Cheer Captain. Throughout these opportunities, I have been able to serve over 350 hours within the past two years to benefit my community and serve other youth around me. I show commercial heifers and market rabbits in our county fair as well as a variety of horticulture, sewing, baking, and art projects. I have had the opportunity to compete in equine, landscaping, and livestock judging competitions in major shows across the state of Texas. The fair has always been a huge part of my life and is one of the highlights of my year. I am so excited to be representing our county fair as a fair queen candidate this year! I hope to attend Texas A&M University as Class of 2028 and major in Animal Science. After college my plan is to attend medical school so that I can continue to serve others around me.
